“We started our journey more than 30 years ago. Different members of our family joined together to create this adventure.
We came from completely different worlds, such as photography, decoration, medicine or music… It has been a beautiful learning experience, with some setbacks and many joys.
We had a clear objective: to create our own style, a personal seal for our establishments, in which the gastronomic offer would focus on high-quality products. In addition to all this, if we add our signature cocktails with top-quality products combined with exquisite decoration and attention to the smallest details, your visit will become a unique experience.”

A magical terrace
Happy River is located in the first reinforced concrete building in Spain, with more than 375 m2 of which 260 are indoors and 115 are a covered, landscaped and heated terrace, with privileged views of the Bilbao Estuary and wonderful natural light.
More than 75 dishes from different countries such as: Japan, Peru, Mexico, Italy, signature cocktails, a wide variety of beers, coffees and special teas to enjoy during the evening.
Our legend
In Salamanca, on the side of the cathedral, every traveller should look for a frog. If you find it, it will bring you success in your studies.
You can’t leave Bilbao without discovering the third parrot that the mural depicts. It will bring you back to Bilbao and bring you good luck. Come and look for it!
